Course Description

This jam-packed weekend includes 2 separate one-day courses, back to back, taught by 2 of Canada's most experienced Clinical Specialists. Saturday June 8: Unlock the secrets of effective cervical spine treatment with this course taught by Jeff Begg and Jill Robertson. Dive into a unique learning experience that blends storytelling and evidence-based practices, offering a novel approach to mastering the cervical spine. This course takes the cervical spine up a level, providing insights from a seasoned PT who brings real-world expertise to the forefront, encouraging you to rethink the way you approach your neck patients. Join us to enhance your critical thinking and technical skills, whether you are new to practice or are looking for new ideas to bring your seasoned practice alive again. Course Objectives A) Understand the typical presentation, the assessment of, and the treatment of the six cervical presentations that make up the majority of cases we see. B) Have a new understanding of published, evidence-based WAD guidelines. C) Understand features of the Biopsychosocial model as it applies to physiotherapy management of neck pain. D) Understand multiple referral options for treatment-resistant neck pain. Sunday, June 9: Spend the day learning peripheral manipulations, taught by Jill Robertson and Jeff Begg. Dive deep into complex MSK cases, unraveling the mysteries of conditions like tennis elbow linked to an abducted ulna and tendinopathies triggered by hindfoot restrictions. Discover how peripheral joint manipulations can be a game-changer in resolving persistent issues. Course Objectives: A) Clue Recognition: Hone your ability to identify subtle indicators of joint fixation during subjective examinations. B) Precision Testing: Master objective tests for confident confirmation of joint fixation. C) Manipulation Mastery: Acquire skills for precise peripheral joint manipulations. D) Patient Empowerment: Learn taping and exercises to support each treatment. Register for either course at $300. Register for both together at a combined price of $525. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the course date will be refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the course date are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the course date will not be refunded. Substitutions of participants will be accepted up until 1 day before the course: a refund (less a $25 administration fee) will be issued after the new participant has paid their tuition fee.
